Marriage Drama is a short, just over 5 minutes short, movie from the folks at Funny or Die. It was released on 13th May 2011 and features Oliver Cooper and Virginia Madsen.
I’m not overly convinced I understand the point of this clip, but…
In the short sketch we see married couple, Steve (Oliver Cooper) and Linda (Virginia Madsen) arguing over Steve’s lack of presence in the house due to his work, a fiery argument blows up between he two but before it goes too far it’s revelated that this is all part of a movie (or, TV show, it’s not clear) which Is being produced.
The two actors receive direction about what is and isn’t working in the scene and they reshoot. Virginia questions if her co-star is too young for the scene and Oliver questions if Virginia is brining her A game. The director reassures them both that all is fine, and the show continues on.
Only this time, Steve has a moustache.
And, so it goes.
Not sure what or where the comedy is in this thing, but it’s fun to watch for a few minutes.
